RentGuard Services SRL is dedicated to protecting the privacy of its users and customers. This privacy policy outlines the information we collect, how it is used, shared and protected. This policy applies to the RentGuard platform, website and any related services offered by RentGuard Services SRL (collectively, the „Service”).
We collect information from you when you use the Service. This information may include:
Personal information: such as your full name, email address, phone number, and social media login information (if you register using Google or Facebook).
Tracking Information: we use Google Analytics to track and analyze your use of the Service. This information helps us continually improve the Service and provide a better user experience.
Payment Information: if you choose to pay for our products or services through the Service, we collect payment information through our integrated subscription with Stripe. This information is required to process and complete transactions.
The information we collect is used to provide and improve the Service, to communicate with you, and to process transactions. This may include sending you platform-related emails and notifications, such as daily updates on rent and overdue invoices, which you may opt to receive via Mailchimp and Firebase.
We do not sell, rent or share personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. However, we may share your information with third party service providers who assist us in providing the Service, such as payment processors. These third party service providers are bound by confidentiality agreements and are not permitted to use your information for other purposes.
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we collect from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under the age of 13, we will take steps to delete that information as soon as possible.
As a company operating in Romania, we comply with the GDPR and take steps to protect the privacy rights of individuals in the European Union (EU). RentGuard offers flexible subscription options tailored to two types of users – Property Owners (Proprietari) and Property Managers (PM). Our subscriptions are available in both monthly and annual billing cycles, with pricing provided in EUR and RON.
